From Original HDR posted as a poll.
First attempt at HDR.

Input: 5 raw images from Canon EOS 20D
Manual exposure F16, @ ev-2, ev-1, ev 0, ev+1, ev+3
32-bit HDR radience mode converted to 16-bit viewable using tone maping.
Converted and resized to 8-bit web format in PS CS2.

Image register achieved through use of Tripod and cable release.

what is HDR?

:-) HDR stands for High Dynamic Range.

Some examples:
Code:
Standard CRT < 100:1
Average LCD   200:1, Sony makes one that can do 600:1
8-bit jpg      256:1
12-bit raw  4096:1
Human eye   10,000:1
Outdoor Sunlight  1,000,000:1
HDR Radience file  infinite, limited by range in the captured input files
