I'm glad you broke your promise!

Lovely shot, as usual.

Beautiful! Do us all a favor and do not make such a silly promise again. Keep playing and shooting in the woods and by the rivers and sharing your photos with us - PLEASE.:-)

:G Well given the weather we tend to get this time of year, I think there will more than enough trips to woods :G

Thanks, yes the colour is coming, this one was taken quite high up on the moors so quite a few leaves have just gone and dropped off already. Lower down everything's still mostly green and a sort of dirty brown colour, but there are a few more colourful trees starting to show. I just need it to stop throwing down rain now: I couldn't get my usual walk in today. Still at least we haven't got floods like most of the rest of the country - and even that's an irrelevance compared to what you guys had down on the gulf coast - no hurricanes here thank heavens!.

All the best, John.

Yes,that Gulf Coast Storm was very bad. Here in New York State all it has done over the last 4 days or so is rain and rain and rain!I've not had a chance to take any pictures and I'm itching to do so.I'm from England originally(Bristol)so I should be used to all the rain but it's rotten for photography, most of the time
