Trying to make the best of overcast conditions. What do you think?

Yes, well spotted. To get an apeture deep enough to keep the river and the tree in focus I had to use a shutter speed of about 4 seconds.

Its great to be able to post again!

This a another lovely shot but could you tell me if those are the colours as you saw it that day? It's very purple so I'm curious!!

The river colours are as I saw them but the trees definately have a purple cast on them - guess I should have corrected that - sorry.
