I love the mornings when the hoarfrost is covering everything. Hmmm, who am I kidding, I'm ready for spring!!!

Thank you fireman, Andrew and John!

John, I love b/w photos, I have seen some b/w winter photos that for lack of a better word have a stark look to them. I wish I knew what to do to make mine like that, maybe more contrast??

I'm not completely sure, but recently I've been experimenting with adding more contrast to my b&w's and it seems to work, but I suspect there may be a better way of getting the effect, there appears to be a real knack to getting them looking right!

I'm surprised there's no b&w forum around here BTW.

We've had a lot of sun lately, and the rains have disappeared for now. Might set a record this month for low rainfall totals. What a turnaround from the last 2 months...thekman.
