Hi everyone, I pulled off the road on the way home from Christmas shopping and took a couple quick shots of this unique looking sunset. Photo was taken handheld while getting the evil eye from my wife cause she hates it when I do this. hehe!!

Happy Holidays!

Thanks John, they don't happen as often as I want, but we do get some beautiful sunrises and sunsets in Indiana. During warm the warm months we are in what is called tornado alley, the jet stream carries these weather systems through that make for great sunsets if the clouds are broken. A little bit of good old polluted air helps to:G.

That's a beauty Bob. I like the way it seems reflected vertically down the sky. Very odd indeed. thekman

Mr. Hammitt,

Many of the photos (13, many of the 20s & 30s) on your sunset / sunrise gallery <http://bobhammitt.myphotoalbum.com/slideshow.php?set_albumName=album01> don't display. They produce a 403 permission error. I found your gallery via a link in this thread regarding the sun pillar photo. Thanks for stopping to take the shot! I always enjoy seeing your photos and hope to some day do as well.

I tried to send you an e-mail instead of posting, but that was disabled.

Thanks VP!

Thank you Dave, I appreciate you checking out my gallery! I will check with the people who host my album to try and find out what the problem is.

Happy Hollidays!!
