Hi all! One from the archive, I posted a couple shots of this windmill last summer. This is another from that day that I have never posted. This was taken from about two hundred yards away on a very foggy morning just as the sun was burning away the fog.
I think the main reason I have never posted it is because It was taken using the digital zoom on my OLy 740 uz.

Wow...what a beautiful picture this one is! Who says digital zoom is no good? This is certainly a winner. Great shot!

Thank you Tullio! I forgot to mention I did run this photo through neat image to remove some noise.

The fog helped make the photo I think. I would not have known digital zoom was used on this one. I like windmill shots (takes me back, I guess)

My Olympus 740 has a 10x optical and with the digital I think it's something like 30x. I love the old camera, I think using my tripod on the photo helped in hiding the digital zoom look.

More searches through your archives are needed Bob. I'd hate to think we're missing out on something else you've hidden away............thekman.

Thanks kman! Sometimes I forget just what I have in the old archives, I think I have around 4k photos stored on a couple different computers. I have to get my old computer out of the closet and see whats on there sometime, hopefully I can find some more keepers to tide me over till spring.
