I just got my new tripod and was lucky enough to have ideal conditions for a moon shot. This is my first attempt at photographing the moon. I used Canon S2 with manual focus, 1/250s, aperature f/5.0.

Hi Leonard and welcome to the forum! Very nice shot, I was able to use a S2 for a short time and found it to be a really nice camera!

Thanks, I just got the S2 about a week ago. I haven't had much time to play with it, but I like it so far. I used to have an S1 and indoor shots are much improved with the S2.
