It cleared off here yesterday, and I was able to get out and check out the sunset. Wasn't much to behold, but I got a few shots. It's been raining here so much, that I haven't been out in over a month. Had to read the camera manual to find out where the shutter button was. :-)Cheers.......thekman

2 I shot this one to get the jet trail. Liked the solitude of it. Not much colour though..

Glad you got a little sunshine! Getting that bird to fly by really makes the first photo for me, I really like the last one even though I'm sure your tied of looking at grey skies. I like the lighthouse in the distance!

I really like the first shot. I agree with Bob...that flying bird really adds to the composition. I also like the color of the clouds. I like the rain...but not that much!

Thanks Bob. Yes, it was nice to see a little sun. Haven't seen any since. Lol. That bird was actually taking off from the post as I took that picture. I was actually trying to get it posing as it seemed to be watching the sunset too. Got lucky as he decided to fly off at the right moment. And that pier picture is one of my favorite subjects, as you probably know by now. I like the symmetry of the pier with the sloping hills leading to the water. The lighthouse is just an added bonus......cheers.......thekman

Nice series. Good timing on the first. On the last I like the solitude of the lighthouse and lonely onlooker on the dock.

Weather has been cloudy, rainy, snowy, and so on here in Michigan too. Spring and fair weatherwill be welcomed!
