Hi everyone. Whenever I page through wildlife magazines, I'm very impressed by the photos that show the animals in their natural environment. These are some of my attempts. All were taken in Malawi. Please let me know what you think...

I like the photos that show wildlife in their environment. Sometimes there is some spectacular scenery also that is not shown. Of course I also like portraits.

I do prefer shots such as #5 where for the most part the entire scene is in focus with more detail, when showing the animal/bird environment.

#6 is a nice shot, maybe the cormorant could have been a LITTLE closer and still have the water and mtns. in the background. At the distance, havingthe mtns. in more detail would be asking for a bitmuch I supposeas the attention is apparently on the cormorant.

The kingfisher on the dugout may be more appealing with no background other than some water included (as shown). Beautiful birds!

Now I need to follow my own thoughts:-)

Thanks VP for commenting. I agree with the comment that most objects must be in focus. Something I'll definately focus more on next time I do this, incidently, this weekend.
