Those are great shots! I like the first one best, too...As said, it gives a better sense of size and stuff.

Great shot and perfect timing. I cropped the picture a bit. I think the lower part was distracting a little.

Interesting, but I still like the first one - the clouds hanging over the strip of land convey (to me) a real sense of threat.

Do you think this is any better?* I recropped the 2nd shot to included a little more foreground.* I think it still instills a since of foreboding.* What do you think?* Cheers, Steve

I still think the first shot was best. This last one has some of the same effect, but the first one gives the stronger impression that the land - and the viewer - are small & insignificant - helpless actually - compared to the huge menace in the cloud.
