Welcome to the forum, drew

Thanks for sharing your photo from Sedona! I have always wanted to visit there to shoot some photos!

The only things I might suggest are:

A crop so that you have just the rock formation.

A polarizing filter to cut the bright day a bit.

If you want, I did a slight tweak of your photo, and couldshow you what I mean.

Okay, Drewaz...here you go

My goals were two fold:

1. Try for a wilderness look to rock.

2. Show the bands in the rock.

Beauty is in eye of beholder so perhaps my "take" is worse!

ahh .....¬* it's beautiful!¬* That's the view up the street from our place¬* ....thanks!¬* I'll post some more pictures from the area soon.¬* It's a great place to practice.
