You've really brought out the colours Jaki. Excellent!

That's a great shot Shaun, I'm not sure about Aumma's edit, the orange looks a little artificial to me, but maybe somewhere between the two would do it just right?

I like the original, but maybe increase the contast and saturation just a touch. Would make a nice print. Too much tweaking and you'll loose that "morning haze" feel that adds so much to the image.

The unedited photo is lovelyI'm not too keen on the edited version,though..it's just a bit too garish for me.It might be just a perspective thing, but I think it could use a little starightening

Shaun the original is very good, you might edit it so that it is between the original and the one I edited.

I am aware I had overdone the editing but just wanted to see the reaction of folks. Reckoning by the answers, I think this was pretty good. Also if you put something controversial, then you get viewers to say something. It is an ol trick that works. That way you get to know what passes and what does not pass. Sometimes one has to take such risks. Regards and keep posting. :G

Beautiful picture, Shaun. No editing required, IMO. I think I'm going to get myself an S2.

Shaun - great photo. As far as editing goes, that depends on what you want to do. If you are going to print this (I would if it were mine) you know what you have to do to get the print to look right. Sometimes what we see on the monitor is a little different than what we get in print, unless your calibration is right on target. Even so, it depends whether you want a muted look to the print or a brighter look. I think both approaches would work with this photo.
