Maiden Dam Morning Scene - I know I should crop some water off the bottom, but then it won't fit the frame I have:-), since reviewing the post, I've also noticed the dust in the water, sorry about that.

Very beautiful shots. In the first shot it was very wise putting these sparkling stones in the foreground. One can even feel their crystalline structure, as old as the continent itself. It is so pleasing to see this composition in the foreground being responded by some clouds over the projecting hills at the far end of the sight. And all through this vast distance there lies a timeless lake of clear fresh water. Just great...
Well done!

Thanks for looking and commenting bahadir - the last shot was actually dissapointing for me, not because of the actual photo, but because I failed to capture the total beauty of the scene. In other words, it lookedway better inreal lifethen the picture. With the first three photos, the converse is true.

And for the lake, the righthandside of the image was cropped off a bit too short,I think, it would be better, if you preserved reflections from the clouds. I liked the forest running through the valley into the lake as well as the pleasing symmetry of the hills and the flora on the still water. I expect your way passes through this lovely lake often, or you already have a catalogue of shots on it.

I wish it were true, even though its only about 100kms from my home, there is a township(basically an area where alot of people with little to no source of income) nearby and the crime rate is very high. Alot of people are hijacked so I can't really go by myself and therefore I've only been there once since getting a decent camera and since I'm going to the UK in December, I may never go again. Quite sad actually.

Really, sad to find that people living in certain parts of the world, who are granted so rich natural resources ,as suggested in your photos, are also cursed with so little income, misery and so on..
