This pic lends itself well to a bw conversion. Just thought I'd share. I'm open toany crop/comp tips. Thanks in advance. fwiw- 300d w/kit lens

Hello soukups! I really like what you are doing here, I would love to see this same photo taken very early on a overcast or foggy morning then converted to b/w. I think you have found a very nice subject to take many more photos of, I look forward to seeing more!

Thank you for looking....This is a park near my work, I go there and shoot during lunch. Your right, some fog & lower sunlight angle would be perfect. Thanks again

I like this shot, the B&W gives it a little bit of a spooky feel. The sun filtering through the trees would be nice too.

i'd almost crop out the trees! they're too "busy", and the really dramatic portion of the picture is in the bottom 3/4... the pathway, and the shadows of the railings provide plenty of interest, and if you let the pathway lead off to the edge of the photo, instead of justdisappearing into the trees, it leads the viewer's mind to wonder where it goes...
