Well if you liked swimming in the lake, I thought you may like a shot of the lake.

Glacier National Park... a very cool place.

I bet you'd come out looking as blue as that sky if you went swimming in there :-)

Another great picture, although is it me or does the horizon slope down to the right?

John.

Any threat from a grizzly again, if I wanted to encamp:G?
An inspirational shot, but the haze(?) seems to steal its glory, IMO. Some adjustment with levels would enhance its beauty. Well done, Bill!

G'day

yes very nice pic and I do quite like shots of mountains and mountain ranges. We do have them around here but not that close. I mean we have My Wellington of course but it doesn't quite seem the same.

And yes it does slope down.

Excellent shot, Bill. I lovethe reflection on the water, nice and clear. As bahadir said, there's a bit of haze (an UV 1 haze filter or a pol filter would have helped) but I don't find it distracting.

Thanks everyone. This shot was a throw-a-way for me as the haze was really bad. The levels have been adjusted and everyting done to save it to the point it is at. It was shot with a Circ. Pol. at the time. I posted it for Digcamfan since he said he had taken a swim in this lake once.

It may have been a graduated filter instead of the polarizer.. not sure now.. but looking at the photo I am not sure I would get the reflection if the polarizer had been on the camera..... too many pictures and too little notes..

Bill as ever doing some great shots. Thanks for sharing. I like the reflection. It actually looks better than the actual picture. Jaki.
