This is a pseudo Panaramic ( I used a 16x9 crop )of the city of Mendocino Ca. About 100 miles north of San Francisco.

What a fantastic photo, Steve! I'd go for Photo of the Day! I like it all. The composition is precise, the colors are well balanced, the oceanline isbeautiful...I can go on and on. Excellent job (with a little help of Mother Nature)!

Thanks Tullio, I appreciate the high praise. There was a lucky break in the rain so the conditions were very clear. Thanks for the vote of confidence, I will submit the photo next month and see what happens. John, Mendocino is a very quaint coastal town. Here's some trivia. There was a T.V. show a few years back in the 90's that starred Angela Lansbury called "Murder She Wrote". They used this view of Mendocino to represent the little New England town of Cabot Cove in which she supposedly lived. They even used a shot of an historic building in Mendocino to represent her house. I am sure that this earth shaking information has made your day, LOL. Thank you to the others that have commented. I used to love that show. She was an American version of Miss Maple. I've seen the third season on DVD at Costco.
