The Point Cabrillo Light House is located just north of the Mendocino Headlands on the northern coast of California. It has been undergoing restoration over the last few years.
The first shot is from the Mendocino Headlands looking north.

Another view, with light flaring looking out to sea.

The second shot DOES have vivid colors. Your new macro?

Thank you for the nice compliments. I didn't use the new macro on the last 2 shots. I was using the kit lens. 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G lens. I did punch up the colors a bit on the second shot. I was trying a PS technique that I had read about. Hopefully it's not too much. I am including the original shot for comparison. Thanks again everyone. All the best, Steve
