I think the shot would look much better if you were a bit higher as so the bridge woudln't be obstructing the cityscape so much. Nice colors though.

Hi all,

Thanks for the comments, I would of loved to of tried a better height to get more of the city into the picture but to where I was perched in the tree I couldn't of gotten any higher. As it was I was at the edge of a 40 meter cliff edge sitting in a tree(the things we do as photographers to get the best shot we can) hoping nothing bad would happen. But I am sure most of us at some time have gone out and twisted and turned ourselves into a ball to get the shot we want, or am I the only idiot that does it??

Great capture! Did you do HDR on this?

Oh, you're not the only one. I spend enough time on my knees trying to get great point of view, that the other night I picked up a pair of knee pads from a local 99-cent store for photography use. It's the one thing in my camera bag that I'll get a lot of questions on.

Great shot indeed. Lovely colors and good exposure! As for getting on your knees, I went out on a family trip a few weekends ago and near the parking lot my son spotted a yellow/greenishlady bug. I've never seen one that color so I put the camera in macro mode and got down on my knees. Well, the shy bug decided to hide in a crack on the pavement. I tried for a good 20 minutes to get it out. That was not my lucky day!
