Hello msoe-chris and welcome to the forum! Beautifulscenery, wish we had some like that in Indiana! I did a quick edit on your photo, I boosted the midtones in levels and did a highlights and shadows adjustment to give your beautiful shot more pop. I also cropped a small portion off the bottom. Here is my edit for demonstration purposes.

Bob

Really cool. Was that the San Juan Range?

By the way I think the original image looks more natural.

Nice photo. I agree with Bob's cropping suggestion - the road and the bank in the left foreground detract from the view. I cropped a bit more to give it a more panoramic feel. I also adjusted the levels to add more contrast and brightness and applied some sharpening, as Bob said, to give it more "pop". Finally I added a wider border, but that's purely my personal preference for presentation.

Cheers,
Ollie :-)

That's a beautiful image, Chris. IMO, the main element which makes this shot fascianating is the unusually beautiful mountain. In this aspect, while both Bob's and Ollie's edits are improvement over the original one, I think Bob's edit emphisize the mountain more. Nevertheless, I find the dark green tree right above the road, in the middle, a distracting element and therefore either be concealed or replaced by an adjacent tree.
All well done!
