Another in a long line of storms for our area, I was at work when this hit. I barely made it into the maintence building before it cut loose. I managed to get this shot before I had to close the overhead door. I did a shadow highlight adjustment and desaturated the photo just a bit.

Thanks Wagaboo! Thanks for the comment, I was wondering how the desaturation would work.

The desaturation in this image makes the truck and complete scene appear to be an old photo (to me)More wicked looking clouds for your area. Around here, we werepretty quiet during the normal spring storm season.

Thank you VP! We really have had our share of bad storms this year, I was stationed at Sheppard AFB for about a year back in 1972-73, I remember it could get pretty wild down your way also.

Bob you've done it again! Not only the composition of that shot is great, but the desaturation of the colors gives it that "eeeeeerrrrriiiieeeeee" feeling to it. Its almost spooky:shock::-)

Great shot!

That's wild Bob. I was at Offut AFB,Neb.during that time period although I had requested Sheppard. That area isin direct path of some wild weather as you said.

We had anisolated severe cell about2 months ago that spawned a tornado and claimed three lives. That was about 60 miles northfrom where I am at the present but occuredright in an area where I owned some property 3-4 years ago.

Take care in the chase.

That's pretty cool VP! I was in the AF from 72 to 80. After I left Sheppard I spent the rest of my time with the exception of a few tdy's in SAC at Grissom AFB about 20 miles from home.
