I know there is some lens flare on the castle ruins but I still thought I'd upload it. We walked 90 minutes uphill starting at 4.50am to get here.

Shaun,

I agree with the others - it's a marvellous picture - congratulations.

Is the lens flare you mention the haziness at the left edge of the ruins, where they're silhouetted against the reflection from the sea? If it is, I much prefer your picture with the flare - I think it would look unnatural & far less effective without it.
