Not familiar with Wrekin but that isa really yellow cornfield. If not for the visible rows it would look like a deep pile of shelled corn. I like the color.

Did you do any post processing to that picture (specifically saturation adjustments)?

I tweeked a few things in Elements 3. Cropped, adjusted contrast a little and just gave a tiny boost to the saturation to enhance the field a little.
