Hi Ladyhawk! Beautiful, I love the reflection! If this photo is any indication it looks like you had a great vacation.

you have a Gifford Pinchot park there, too? actually, i think ours is a national forest, not a state park, but that fella must've really gotten around! :G

This is a very nice place to photograph, and it is right in my neck of the woods.

You have done this place justice with this photo.

This photo has decided my weekend plans, and i'm going to make a trip down there on Saturday which is supposed to be a very nice day.

Very nice color. I really like how you cropped it so it'd show some clouds on the water that's not on the top of the picture.

VP:

My California vacation was last February. In September I'll be whitewater rafting in West Virginia for a week. I suspect the only photos I'll take on that trip will be from outside of the raft.

To see a couple of photos of my July whitewater expedition, follow this link:
http://stray-thoughts--ruminations.b...eadership.html

The guy on the rock in the first photo had fallen out of his boat. He tried to jump aboard our raft, hoping we would transport him downriver to his boat since his crew had abandoned him. As you can see from the second photo, he missed and ended up back in the water. :G
