Hi guys, I know that parts of this shot are dark but trust me, this was a big storm and is was diffi ult exposeing for everything as the sun was still quite bright when it finally broke through. I did consider multiple exposures but to be honest i quite like the effect of the dark patches.

Anyway, let me know what you think, comments as ever always welcome!

that intense red, and the dark areas almost give it a kind of hellish look.

Very interesting, and you are quite right, i think you got the right exposure for this kind of shot.

I love it!! Some photos convey a mood or emotion, this is one of those photos for me.

Thanks for your comments, I was trying to create a sense of foreboding which i think this image acheives. In fact on recollection the forebording came true. I got soaked!
