I have a huge problem.

I've formatted my cf card and took photos again without saving previous ones to my pc. the card was full before overwritting and it's full after it.

Please help!!!

You've answered your own question, overwritten means whatever was there before has been replaced by the new files.

You could try one of the data recovery programs available from various download sites to see if a couple of the old images are recoverable but the majority are gone.

If you had stopped after the format you probably would have got most of the files back.

Files on a hard disk can sometimes be recovered after overwriting, with specialized hardware and software, using edge detection. Solid state memory, however, cannot.

Afraid you are out of luck.
