What is the highest capacity memory card that the Canon Rebel XT will take? i just bought the camera and am new to this stuff..I will also need to know the type of card along with the size. Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your camera supports FAT32 (which means that it is capable of working with cards larger than 2GB).

So, it should work OK with just about any size CompactFlash card you'd want to use.

Sandisk and Lexar are popular brands. You can find relatively fast card at very low prices now.

I've found newegg.com to have good prices on memory cards.
