Default Memory Stick Pro Duo MkII or SDHC

I have a Sony Alpha with slots for both SD and MS Pro Duo cards. I have a 2GB and a 4GB "class 4" SD card for the camera. Is there an advantage as far as speed is concerned with the Memory Stick cards? Is that difference worth the price? I can pick up a 4Gb SD card on sale at RadioShack for $9 whereas a 2GB MS card is almost $16! Twice the price for half the storage.

The MS Pro Duo (HG) card will allow for faster shooting in the burst mode as it can write data faster than a standard SD card. I have never used a class ten SD card so cannot speak to any differences there might be in that instance.
