3 Companies jointly developed Secure Digital: Panasonic, Toshiba, and Sandisk.

If you buy a different manufacturer's card, it's just using rebranded components from one of the big 3.

In sizes up to 128mb, any Secure Digital Card should work fine. So, I'd just search for the best deal on one. Some manufacturers warranties are better than others though.

If you decide on a larger card instead, then you need to be careful. For whatever reason, Sandisk 256mb Secure Digital Cards seem to have compatibility problems in some cameras.

Personally, I'd probably stick to genuine Panasonic, Simpletech (which I've read uses Panasonic Components), or Lexar (but only their "32x High Speed Cards). I've seen no problems from users of these 3 card types.

Here's an example of a Simpletech 128mb Card:

Here is an example of a 256mb Card Lexar Card (these 32x Cards seem to work fine in cameras that are more picky about compatibility, too).
