Default New Iomega 1GB Microdrive?

I just spotted an Iomega brand 1GB Microdrive in the new Ritz Camera flier, has anyone had any experience with it? The price seems good at $249, and the site says it's 50% more shock tolerant. We've had a zip or two go on us over the years and they've always been able to recover our files for us. I haven't been able to track it down for a price comparison so it must be pretty new.

The Iomega is OEMed from IBM.

Just like Flash cards the colorful sticker on the device and the retail packaging is the only difference. The gut usually comes from the same factories!

All business 101... and oh yes flash card vendors also claim theirs are faster than the next guy as well...

You can get the real Mc Coy for less:

Although the Ritz one has a nice plastic case...
