CF error message
I bought a 16 GB PIXELFLASH CF card a week ago and took about 1,000 pictures. Camera is an Olympus E 520. Connected camera with USB cable and transferred pictures on computer. I used the "Safety remove hardware" icon on bottom of comuter to eject card. Was that what cause my card to get error message? Should I have turned camera off then disconnected cable from computer? Other XD cards I have work on camera but CF doesn't anymore. Tried Formating through camera but doesn't do anything. Tried using USB with computer but computer detects connection but doesn't read the card. I don't need to recover pictures since I have them on computer already, just want to see if I can fix card or do I need a new one? Is there a way to prevent this from happening again?
