Default Problem with Lexar sd card

:x I have a Kodak DX 6490 and bought a Lexar 256 sd card for it. The first one came and the little slider on it that locks it was so loose that when I put it in the camera it slid into the locked position and then of course I couldn't use it. I returned it and got another. This one was tighter, but after putting it in the camera twice it loosened enough to do the same thing!! It seems like a very weak point in the design. Has anyone else had this problem? I have a Viking 32 sd card that I got as a freebee from amazon.com when I bought the camera. It has been working fine. I'm perplexed.

i have a lexar 256 sd card for my fz-10 and haven't had any problems. i'm not familiar with the slot on the kodak, but think it must be either bad cards or perhaps something is happening when you insert the card.
