Default Memory card, 16GB, Class 4 is enough?

I think capacity 16GB is enough on my D3100, I shoot pictures with jpeg format, which can contain quite a mount of pictures on it. BTW I want to know if class 4 SD card is enough, I don't often use continuous capture modes. Please help me make a choice between these two SD cards.

Thank you!

#2 is a class 10 card that is going to be much much faster than the first card which is a class 4. Even if you don;t shoot in burst the shoot to shoot will be faster and the amount of time it takes to upload photos to your computer will be short (i.e. faster with the class 10 card).

G'day Hoody

There are 2 answers here - "both" are okay

1- If all your pix are landscapes where there's no hurry whatsoever to take the next shot, then the Class-4 will do. That's why the camera maker offers this card as default with a new camera

2- when you have a few [thousand] images under your belt, experience takes over and you find that on many occasions you want a 2nd or 3rd shot fairly soon after the 1st shot. Burst / continuous is the most common here

Then you soon find that the little red light saying -busy- is on for too long and you grumble to yourself about slow-cameras .... and that's when the class-10 card comes into its own

For my money - as they seem to cost very nearly the same $$ - I would go for the class-10 card every time

Capacity ... 4GB - 8Gb - 16Gb is another matter
All of my cards are either 4Gb or 8Gb as I download every day I don't need hi-capacity cards. Others here will have different usage needs and therefore, different card sizes

Hope this helps a bit
