Default Sony DSC-T1 File System format Compatibility

I am trying to find out if the sony DSC-T1 is compatible with BOTH the FAT16 and FAT32 file systems. I assume it is, as it seems to be compatible with "old" Memory Stick Duo and newer Memory Stick Pro Duo (which I understand to use FAT16 and FAT32 formats, respectively) - please correct me if I am wrong. I would like to purchase the DSC-T1, but am not sure it will be compatible with my personal video player (RCA Lyra RD2780) which only reads FAT16 through its Compact Flash slot (I have the Sony MSAC-MCF1N memory stick to compact flash adapter already). I am hoping to format a Memory Stick Pro Duo to FAT16 so that I can use it with my RCA.
