Default No Plans for Higher Sized Memory Sticks!!!!

I emailed Sony to try and find out when they were going to release 256 or 512 meg memory sticks,as far as I was told,"there is nothing planned as yet",don`t you think Sony should get their finger out and do something about it!!!!!.

Many of us have passed the word back to Sony Japan that 128MB Memory Sticks just don't cut it in cameras like the F707 or S85 with their 5-megapixel images.

We've finally seen the price of existing MS media come down to that of Compact Flash so I hope that they will soon get off their butts and start making larger capacity sticks.

God only knows what they -will- do however, look at the Smartmedia mess. For several years they promise higher capacity SM media is coming and now they have basically killed off SM in favor of yet another new type of card - xD Picture Cards. So figure SM will never go beyond the existing 128MB size, there's no reason for it now

My bet is you'll see a 256Mb Duo before the MS, which you can still use with an adapter... a` la xD!
