I purchased a SanDisk 1.0GB UltraII SD card for my camera. Works like a charm. Since I have a laptop, I like the idea of having a PC Card Adapter for it. So, I bought the SanDisk 6-in-1 PC Card Adapter (http://sandisk.com/retail/pca.asp).

I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2 and it refuses to read or write to the Ulstra II SD card when it's in the computer via the PC Card Adapter. I have no problems reading from/ writing to other 'regular' SD cards, memory sticks etc. I can access the images fine if I have the camera connected via the USB cable or directly an external USB card reader.

Now, I have 2 questions:

1. Does anyone know of another PC Card Adapter for an SD card? One that will work with the Ultra II series. If none, then what's a nice little compact card reader?

2. What is so radically different about the Ultra II cards that makes them unreadable?

Thanks in advance!
