I'm looking to buy a 1Gb high-speed SD stick for more 640x480x30fps movie time in my Pentax 43WR. I've been using a 512 SanDisk Ultra-II so far w/good results. The Kingmax Platinum 1Gb60x SD has similar specs to the SanDisk Ultra-II 1Gb SD but costs $15 less ($75 vs $90). I'm a noob when it comes to SD quality so is one better/worse than the other? Thx!...

The Panasonic forum on DPReview is full of praise for the kingmax. The Ultra-II gets mixed comments, the speed is the same but some people reported failures and incompatibilities.

I have had no problems with any Sandisk media.

Be is CF, xD or smartmedia.
