A "noname" Compact Flash card 128 Mo seems to be dead. Noname but "Samsung made".

It's no recognized by the system (Win XP and 2K) when introduced in two different card readers (Lexar and Peabird)...and I can't access to it to try to format it.

When introduced in a camera it's possible to format it, but the camera says "Card error" or "Card not initialized" after the formatting has been done, when trying to photograph something. This has been tried in two different cameras : Fuji S7000 and Canon Powershot A40 with the same errors.

Is this card completely dead, or does anyone know a "secret" manipulation to bring it back to life ?

Thanks for your attention. Regards.
