I just purchased a nikon 8800 and am looking at 1gigcf cards on newegg.

The photos taken will mostly be of my 18 month old daughter, family photos, vacations etc.. I do plan to use the continuous shooting mode frequently using the highest jpeg setting (rarely raw)and here is the real question. (I know this has probably been asked but im just getting used to using this site so I'm sorry for re-asking)

Do i need the extra speed of a card like the sandisk II ($90) or will one of the cards listed below work well without long delays .

Viking ($50 after rebate)

PQI $66 - listed 20 Mbites/sec

Rosewill $67 - listed 20 Mbites/sec

Sandisk (the blue one)- $70

I dont mind paying the extra $ if i need the extra speed

If anyone has other reccomendations I greatly appreciate it, and thank you in advance

I dont know what kind of movie mode your camera has, but if it has a high quality movie mode(640x480 @ 30 fps), I would suggest buying a high speed memory card. If you are still unsure, just follow the old saying, it's better to have something and not need it than to need it and not have it.
