I've just ordered my Canon 20D, it should arrive within the week (yeah!). Now I need to get a memory card and can't tell wether the general consensus is for or against using a 'microdrive' as opposed to a regular compact flash card.

Speedand capacity are equallyimportant for me. I will be primarily shooting action sports, using burst mode alot and probably shooting in RAW + JPEG, or JPEG fine at the very least.

So what do you think, pros and cons of each format.

A microdrive is made on the compact flash mold. It is usally compact flash II....A fast compact flash is what you want. Look at Sandisk Ultra II and Extreme III. Kingston Elite Pro, Transcend 50X, Lexar (though the 1GB 80x had issues). ....Kingston has very good views and on sale for 1GB at www.buy.com for $63 and 2GB for $109. All are good CF.
