I'd like to buy SANDISK MEMORY STICK PRO ULTRA II, 2GB (SDMSPH2048901) but I don't know if it will work with my Sony DSC-V1?
Is my camera able to handle this memory?

Here I've found cheapest cards - I want to buy it in one of these shops:

I'm sorry for my english.
Thank you for you response.

It should (I doubt that the Sandisk media would have any compatibility issues compared to the Sony Memory Stick products).

But, I don't know anyone that's tried it yet (so, if you order one, make sure to let everyone know how it works).

The DSC-V1 supports sizes up to 2GB. It will not support a 4GB card.

You can see Sony's compatibility chart here:

Thank you very much for fast response.
Anyway - if I buy it, I'll let you know if it works. I hope that there will be no
problem with this card. The camera was buyed in Poland and I'm getting
the card from USA, but I don't think this can have any influence on how
it works.

Thank you,
