As a follow-up, Kingston are based on Samsung components. I will say that I have some older slower Kingston cards that work fine in my slrn. But the Elite Pro versions will not.

I have a 1GB and A 512MB Kingston that I use with my 20D and It is great. I think they are the best value around. I also have a 2GB Lexar 80X card that I came as a package deal with my camera when I bought it at B&H, and the lexar is faster but I don't have the highspeed Kingston card you are interested in. I say go for it.
