I bought a camera new t'other week and properly used it for the first time this weekend. Its a Fuji FinePix F470 and I bought a 1Gb Fuji xD card with it.

Ive tested it before, played with it etc, its been fine. Ive transfered photos both using the USB cable and by putting the xD card into my card reader.

Now the problem I have is as follows;

When I look at the card (either via USB or my card reader) I can see the file structure and the files are all listed with sizes. When I tried to move the photos to my PC the first 70 files came fine, then I got an error which read "Error Copying File or Folder Parameter Incorrect". Since this ive only got this error. I can see the photos via the screen on my camera, so I know theyre there and they are readable.

I have used the Microsoft Backup Tool to copy the raw data from my card to my PC which seemed to work, then I did a restore to my PC. The log showed alot of failures. When I try to open the images in photo shop I get this error "Could not complete your request because a JPEG marker segments length is too short (the file may be truncated or incomplete).".

Does anyone have any ideas for me?

Much appreciated,
