I'm looking at purchasing an additonalCF card for my Nikon 995. I don't want to spend the additional money for a Sandisk II, III or IV of it won't make taking and storing the photos any faster.

I'm also looking at getting a newer digicam, and have the same dilemma for the new camera.

Q Does the additional cost - real make a difference ?

You should check with Nikon as to whether your particular camera model supports the higher speeds. The faster cards will download faster when using a USB card reader, but without in-camera support, they won't record photographs any faster.

If it's a high capacity card, you'll regret not getting a high speed version when it's time to download the pics to your computer.
