My wife has owned several Nikon cameras over the years and she has one case she is particularly fond of and would like to find for her Nikon D50. Basically it holds the camera body with lens attached. Part of the case that covers the lens and back body is snapped onto the body case and can be removed to allow for picture taking while the main body is still protected. She finds this much easier than taking the entire camera in and out of the case when she wants to quickly take a picture. The one she has is a thick leather but we can't find anything like it for her D50. Anyone know where I can get one for her?

This type of camera case was common when I bought my first Minolta SRT-101 40 years ago but I haven't seen anything similar in recent years. Check B&H http://www.bhphotovideo.com/ and if they don't have one it no longer exists.
