I'm looking at replacing the original strap on a Pentax K200D with this strap. From the Op/Tech website, it has the same load rating as the Classic but is slightly narrower and doesn't have the quick release buckles (which I don't need). Just wondering how the strap works in the real world with a DSLR camera. Thanks for any input.

I have the pro-loop and have used it on my last 2 DSLRs (my current dslr is the Canon 1dmkIII brick) and it's very comfortable. Different attachment and has the quick release but if the top part of the Comfort is the same as the pro-loop then I highly recommend it.

Sounds like I'll be OK with the EZ strap. The padded part is about half the width and almost the same length as the Pro Loop. My main purpose is to get a bit more padding on my neck which the neoprene should do.
Thanks for the input. Regards |

I prefer the Tamrac N-45 35straps, I have one on all four of my Canon bodies. It is the most comfortable one I have ever used jn 35 years of photography.

When going to check on an Op/Tech strap I saw a Crumpler Industry Disgrace strap. No quick release (which I didn't want) but padded, contoured and felt comfortable. Looked and felt good so I bought it.
Again, thanks for the responses. Despite not following your particular recommendation it was still helpful in considering the alternatives. Regards Last edited by bluenose; Aug 27, 2009 at 4:22 PM. |
