I know that this is a photo site and forum but over the years I got lots of solutions for different problems that I had. So I hope that it will work again.

Looking for solution.
I had audio problem that the service could not solve, since there was absolutely no problem with the camera.
I have done several fashion shows with extreme high level of music and ended up with a totally messed up distorted audio track. Set the attenuator on -used different external mikes etc.didn't help. I had to end up putting another audio track on it.
I have been looking for some solution because in November I'm going to Milan also for a fashion show and don't want problems that are almost impossible to solve. ( EQ will not filter the digital distortion but knocks of the whole audio).
A sound engineer told me to try the Beachtek adapter. Actually the DXA-8 model because it has limiter built into it. So before I fork out close to Can$ 600.00 for it, I would like to know if it's working or not?
How the Auto Gain Control respond to the Beachteck settings?
I would appriciate if someone could give me some information on this.
