Default A few fall shots

If you saw these in the Oly m43 forum you can ignore

Went out for a bit between rains to test out the Canon FD 50mm 1.4 on my EPL1. Got a few nice fall shots.

Last night I picked up a Canon FD 50mm 1.4 SSC (version 1) in excellent condition. Had a chance to get a few test shots in this evening between the rain showers.

The color of the 3rd on is very rich, the lens looks to be a winner

In your first shot I really wish the whole leaf was in focus, that includes the stem. Other than that good shot. I see some dof problems with some of the other shots as well. But 1 is my fav.

they cannot be said to be dof problems, as the dof was exactly what i was going for. so i guess it is more of a creative difference.

however, just for you Bynx, i have shot #1 with more dof the whole stem is not in focus as it was sticking forward enough to be in quite a different plane than the rest of the leaf, but it is closer

I grabbed an extra maple leaf stuck it on an extra tree and used a spritzer of water and reshot the composition. Now its all in focus. hehehehe
