Here's a shot of a new species of grass for our area. I don't know what it's called, but a decade ago it was nowhere to be found. Five years ago, there were small pockets of it, and today there are whole fields choked with it. It grows up to 12 feet in height, and is really attractive - except for the fact it is choking out other native plants.

Comments are always welcome.

One more. I'd be really interested in any comments regarding composition, layout, clarity, saturation, etc...

Hi Tom,

I like the first 2 pix.

Re. 2nd pic.

Would it be poss to carry the bright detail on the right side a bit further into the grass head, so maybe it looked a bit fuller?

It would be nice also to have a pic of the area that is choked with this weed... to complement the existing pix.
