Great sky.

I wish the USA would get rid of its #@$% telephone poles! In Canada, power lines, etc., are all underground. I wish we would do the same thing here. Photographers all over the country would bless the power companies if they did. :G

Do you have high voltage power lines in your area? I would like to see a sunset though those huge towers. Nice foto and I don't bother about the electric lines. It gives me a nostagic feelings. Some times, I miss them as I haven't seen then in years.

Yes, we do have the big Eiffel Tower type as well as the Redwood tree size wooden monsters. The latter run right through my land. Besides those things polluting the view, you can't dig a hole without fear of getting fried, some slight exageration.

Sorry, I missed your reply. Things move rather like frozen resin in this particular forum.

Well, this isn't exactly true. My area has underground utilities, but half a block away both sides of the street are lined with telephone and Hydro poles, as the following pic will attest. Believe me, we're no further ahead on this than anyone else.

Yeah, my parents are in Southern Ontario and there are powerlines/poles everywhere with no hurry to bury them.

The powerline and -chords are contibuting to this picture. Without them it would be less intruiging.
