Default Images from which you later pick which bits you want in focus?

The heading sounds odd, but I just saw this article about it -

Even more interesting is the picture the site displays. Click on the bit you want to be sharp - and it then becomes sharp!

I almost ordered one on a whim, but decided to wait to see how the technology pans out. Great idea, although the fake bokeh is a little less than impressive.
